Shift OBD2 offers a comprehensive solution for car performance tracking and troubleshooting. With customizable gauges monitoring up to 100 sensors, you can track real-time data such as fuel economy, G-force, gear display, and battery voltage. The fast polling rate ensures responsive gauges and graphing. The tool allows users to read and clear trouble codes, reset MIL (service engine light), and switch between Metric and Imperial measures.

Notable features include real-time user-defined sensor plotting, freeze frame support, and instant tracking of horsepower, fuel economy, boost pressure, and G force. Users also benefit from VIN number readings, calibration ID access, speed limit notifications, and warnings for high oil or coolant temperatures.

Shift OBD2 further includes HUD mode for night driving, emissions test readiness, multiple ECU support, shift light feature, sensor gauge notifications, light and dark theme options, console mode for OBD commands input, and extended PID support for specific manufacturers.

The tool also provides detailed fuel economy tracking with multiple intervals, units of measure, export capabilities to CSV files, and other statistics like distance traveled, average speed, money spent on fuel and CO2 emissions. The race track package offers real-time lap data and comprehensive summaries of racing activities with drag times and real-time horsepower tracking.

For the recording enthusiasts, the dashcam feature allows smooth HD video recording with overlaid gauges showing speed, RPM, time stamps, location (GPS coordinates), and G-force sensor data. Additionally, the sensor logger enables simultaneous recording of up to four sensors with various refresh rates and the ability to export graphed sensor data to further analyze on PC/MAC.

Shift OBD is compatible with specified adapters including WIFI ELM327 adapters and Bluetooth LE adapters such as Kiwi 3/4 PLX, Veepeak BLE, Carista BT, LE LElink among others. Fuel economy functionality requires a vehicle equipped with a MAF sensor. Fast polling is supported for vehicles with CAN protocol.
